About the event

Permission to Heal

An Immersive Day of Self-Compassion & Forgiveness

🗓 Sunday, October 26, 2025 · 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM📍 Sky Pond · Apex, NC

Grief can leave us tangled in guilt, shame and self-blame. You don't have to carry these anymore.

These feelings add heaviness to the heart, making the journey of grief feel even more difficult to bear. Forgiveness is compassion in action. It frees us from cycles of punishment and opens space for grief to unfold as it was meant to — with honesty, tenderness and love.

Permission to Heal invites you to lay down what no longer serves you and discover the relief of meeting yourself with gentler eyes. Through movement, ritual, reflection and deep restorative rest, you’ll find space to soften, to forgive and to return to the self that longs to be held in compassion. This workshop is for all types of loss, grief and life transitions including the loss of relationships, loved ones, pets, jobs, the roles we once filled.

A Day of True Self-Care

Grief asks for intentional space — a container where the burdens of guilt, shame and blame can be acknowledged and gently released. This workshop offers that space: a balance of community and solitude, ritual and reflection, movement and rest.

You’ll have time to soften toward yourself, to practice forgiveness as compassion in action and to discover the freedom that comes with allowing and releasing. You will leave this day with a lighter heart, a deeper well of self-compassion and the spaciousness that forgiveness creates for healing.

This is a day of true self-care. One intentional day can open the way for lasting healing.

💫 Our Promise:

  • You’ll learn compassionate practices and perspectives that bring gentler eyes to your grief.

  • You’ll rekindle a quiet connection to the self within — the one longing to be seen and forgiven.

  • You’ll engage in a transformative forgiveness ritual and powerful release practices.

  • You’ll leave with a lighter heart, a renewed sense of self-compassion and the freedom that forgiveness brings to your grief journey.
